PODS

  • Housing never contacted Rob about working on the Pods program again this year. We take this to mean that they have the program covered and are not seeking help from SGA this year. Therefore, the senior class is just going to let Housing take complete control for this program.

Banquet

  • The contract has been signed with Michelangelo’s and everything is set and ready to go for the banquet on April 25th.

Rob will be going and picking up the awards some time this week.

Senior Class Meeting 3-15

Be  A “Peace” of Something Bigger

  • The Honors College class got over 700 signatures on their petition.
  • the Army Corps of Engineers said that they talked to over 500 students.
  • Brad gave out 260 hot dogs.

These numbers just give us an idea of how successful the event was, and our class feels like it is definitely an event worth pursuing in the future.

PIZZA WARS was a huge success, thanks to everyone for showing up!

SGA Banquet

  • Contacting Mike’s Place and Michelangelo’s to get price estimates.
  • Voting on awards tonight.

PODS

  • Will talk to Ashley Lyon’s this week.

COSGA

  • We feel like most colleges are already represented on senate.
  • We are worried about whether or not we will be able to find enough candidates from all the different colleges.
  • Smaller groups will make it harder to get goals accomplished, unless groups collaborate.
  • We feel that it is way too soon to implement a new system, it needs to be at least another year.
  • We also feel like having more classes/groups of representatives would make it even harder for exec to keep tabs on them all.

On a positive note, the Senior class does like the new committees that were proposed.
