The SAFA Committee

Purpose: To insure accountability of all student activity fee funding; to teach budget planning; to encourage organizations to plan ahead; to encourage organizations to justify their expenses; to encourage a greater diversity of activities funded through the student activity fee; and to better organize the SGA to make available more time to deal with non-monetary issues. Goals: The Student Activity Fee Committee will support activities and insure a balance of events that broaden the educational, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all University of Central Arkansas students.

UCA’s average ACT Composite Scores for first-time entering undergraduates is above the Arkansas and National average and has been since 2002. In Fall 2017: Arkansas, 19.4; National, 21.0; and UCA, 24.3.
